What’s the difference between Village Medical and Summit Health?
Village Medical and Summit Health are sister companies, and your medical care is our top priority. We will continue to offer you the same comprehensive, high-quality care that you and your family deserve.
Why do I need to create a new patient portal account?
We have transitioned some of our clinics to the shared-technology of our sister company, Summit Health. Your privacy and security remain our top priority during this transition.
Will my information be transferred?
Your provider will still have access to your records to ensure a seamless transition. After creating your new portal account, you will be able to view your medications, allergies, problems, future appointments, vaccinations, vitals, and past surgical history. Lab/Imaging results, past appointments, and encounter notes will not be transferred.
How do I create a new account?
Please call 908-790-6500 to create a new account. A few things to know before:
- It takes around 30 seconds before you will be prompted to select “2.”
- You will be calling Summit Health. The automation will reference “Summit” “CityMD” and “WestMed” but not Village Medical. Don’t be alarmed, it’s still us!
Why am I seeing Summit Health branded materials?
Village Medical and Summit Health are sister companies, and you’ll see places where Summit is mentioned, like on bills and the patient portal. Village Medical is still the familiar location where you receive the high-quality care you and your family deserve.
