Alessandro Valverde (pronounced “Al ess an dro / Valv er de”), MD, is dedicated to his patients’ health. He started practicing in 2017 with clinical interest in diabetes care and management.
Dr. Valverde earned his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at The University of Texas Pan-American (now The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) in Edinburg, TX. He then attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his family medicine residency training at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Residency Program in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Valverde is board certified in family medicine and also fluent in Spanish.
On a personal note, Dr. Valverde enjoys time with his family, exercising, playing basketball and board games.
