Dr. Alyssa Vivas (pronounced “Ah-LEE-sah VEE-vhas”) has been practicing since 2018, with a focus on Family Medicine and clinical interests in women's health, basic primary care procedures, chronic disease management, adolescent health, preventive medicine and integrative medicine.
Dr. Vivas completed her undergraduate study in Seattle at the University of Washington, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and minored in chemistry. She attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (PNWU-COM) in Yakima, WA, and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Abrazo Central Campus (formerly known as Phoenix Baptist Hospital), where she served as Chief Resident. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), Alyssa belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians (AzAFP). As a National Health Service Corps scholar, Alyssa provided health care to underserved populations.
Born in the Philippines, Alyssa lived in Washington state for most of her life. She settled in Arizona after her completing her residency there, and falling in love with the sun and warm weather. In her free time, Alyssa likes to stay active: running, hiking, playing tennis and working out at the gym. She also loves to spend time with her husband and their dog.
