Dr. April Estes has been a family medicine doctor since 2004. She has a special interest in preventative care and wellness, and she likes to think about how the mind, body, and spirit affect health.
Dr. Estes studied cell and molecular biology at San Diego State University. She went to medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her family medicine residency at Mesa General Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. She is certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians. She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association.
Away from work, Dr Estes is a big fan of personal growth and nature. She likes to play video games, do puzzles, and make crafts. She even plays with Legos sometimes! She has been married to her amazing husband for over 25 years. They have a dog named Odie and a fish named Dave. Dr. Estes’s faith in God and her family are very important to her.
