Certified physician assistant April Warstler (pronounced “ap-ril / wars ler”) is committed to her patients’ health. She started practicing in 2002 with clinical interest in urgent care, occupational medicine and telemedicine. April treats children, teens and adults.
She is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and basic life support (BLS) April earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville, MI and her undergraduate degree as a physician assistant from the University of Saint Francis in Ft. Wayne, IN during which time she completed her required PA rotations and an additional one emergency room medicine. She earned her master’s degree at University of Saint Francis and her doctorate degree of medical science as a physician assistant educator at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. April is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and CAPA.
On a personal note, April and her spouse have two adult children and three grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as hiking, camping and reading.
