Bio
Avinash Narine, MD, is a practitioner committed to providing excellent care for his patients. He started practicing medicine in 2014 and is associated with the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center and Bellville Medical Center. He has clinical interest in depression and anxiety and social disparities in medicine.
Dr. Narine appreciates working with Village Medical because it affords him the opportunity to devote ever-so important (and deserved) time to patients, thereby focusing on all of their needs and medical issues. He is motivated by the ability to educate patients about medicine and their medical issues, thus inspiring and motivating changes that lead to improved health.
Dr. Narine earned his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Dallas. He acquired his master’s in public health and attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency work at the Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, with a specialty in family medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Narine enjoys time spent with his wife who he met in medical school, playing with his three children, reading, cooking, travelling and photography.
