As a nurse practitioner, Chelsea Van Rooy is devoted to the health and wellbeing of her patients. She started practicing in 2007 as a registered nurse and as an advanced practice registered nurse in 2017. Chelsea treats adults, completing physical exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.
Chelsea earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Murray State University in Murray, KY. She completed her master of science in nursing (MSN) at Walden University. She is board certified as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in acute and chronic healthcare management in the adult geriatric population. She is a member of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nursing Association (GAPNA) and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).
On a personal note, Chelsea is married and has two children. She enjoys travel, reading, gardening and fishing. She has lived and worked in or near Calloway County her entire life. She is excited to give back to her community.
