Eric Richards, AC

Working out of the Horsetooth Office, Eric Richards offers specialized acupuncture services to relieve a variety of maladies, including hypertension, musculoskeletal issues, neurological conditions, menopausal issues, migraines, and more.

Born and raised in Denver, Eric attended Colorado State University, earning a degree in Biochemistry. In his last two years at CSU, he started working for the State of Colorado in the Water Test Division at CSU. In 1991, he started classes in Chinese Medicine at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver. He continued working for the State as well as taking classes for the next three years. Eric graduated from CSTCM in 1994 and upon passing the national boards, he started working at the Rocky Mountain Regional Pain Management Center.

Eric ensures that the patient knows they are a team, sharing the same goals, working towards the same outcome, and sharing the experience along the way. Eric and his patients are in it together, whether that be walking with a walker or getting back to collegiate level sports.

Eric likes to stay active in more ways than one. Between hiking 14ers and camping in the mountains to club exercises and assisting with youth sports to eating healthy with a plant focus and lots of laughter, his life is full of health and happiness. Eric is the Horsetooth Office’s resident funny guy!

Although Eric’s practice focus is in orthopedics/sports medicine, he treats a vast amount of other complaints and conditions, including:

Personal Interests:

In his free time, Eric enjoys being outdoors in any way possible. That time is usually well spent, especially when it is with his family. Eric loves spending time with his wife, two daughters, son, and granddaughter. He has raised them all to love and respect the outdoors as much as he does!
