Dr. Ike Nwaobi (pronounced “Wa-O-Bi”) specializes in family medicine and began practicing in 2011. His areas of interest are hospital medicine and post-acute care.
He received his undergraduate degree and attended medical school at the University of Benin, College of Medicine in Nigeria, and completed his residency at the Medical Residency program, in Columbus, GA. Dr. Nwaobi obtained a Master of Business Administration in healthcare management from Auburn University, AL, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
His professional associations include the American Medical Association, American Association of Family Physicians, and Society of Hospital Medicine.
His hobbies include soccer and travel, and he describes himself as a “family man,” with a wife, two daughters and a son.
