Bio
As a board-certified physician assistant, Julia Baldwin is devoted to the health of her patients. She started practicing in 1989 with clinical interest in pediatric and adolescent medicine, preventive medicine and oncology. Julia treats infants, children, teens and adults.
Julia completed her physician assistant training at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is also a certified yoga instructor and holds a certification in mindfulness-based stress reduction for healthcare providers.
In her free time, Julia enjoys volunteering at Casa de Esperanza in Houston, cooking, traveling, scuba diving, hiking, cycling and reading. She also values providing humanitarian aid and has worked with several local and international volunteer organizations where she provided aid in Banda Aceh, Indonesia following a tsunami in 2004 and after Hurricane Katrina in the US in 2005.
