Bio
Katie Noriega, FNP-BC is a member of the Village Medical care team She began practicing in 2021 with focus in Primary Care and holds clinical interests in preventative health, health promotion, chronic disease management and mental wellness. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Katie’s education journey includes obtaining both a Bachelor’s and Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Other academic accomplishments include a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Additionally, she holds certification with the Department of Health as a DOT Medical Examiner. Katie is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners and North Texas Nurse Practitioners.
Outside the professional sphere, she enjoys biking, hiking, and yoga. She is a doggy parent to a miniature Australian Shepherd and likes developing her cooking and baking skills.
