Bio
Nurse Practitioner Kurt Cuellar began practicing in 2018 with a focus on family medicine, and clinical interest in diabetes, hypertension, preventative medicine and mental health. He is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He is the lead Nurse Practitioner role in the Primary Care Clinic, and collaborates with physician leaders in implementing new strategies to help achieve optimal patient care.
Kurt received his Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. In addition to English, Kurt speaks fluent Spanish.
On a personal note, Kurt loves to listen to all genres of music and attend concerts. He also enjoys cooking and learning about culinary experiences around the world. Kurt is married, and met his wife in nursing school. They have two dogs.
