Bio
Board-certified family nurse practitioner Leslee Hamadeh takes a holistic approach to medicine, treating not just her patients, but also considering their families, minds, bodies and spirits to ensure she’s treating all aspects of what makes each patient unique.
Prior to pursuing family practice, Leslee served as a trauma performance improvement coordinator for Abrazo West Campus, a Level 1 trauma center. She has a strong background in ICU/critical care and telemetry, which has been particularly valuable to her role in family medicine. She explains that while critical care was challenging and rewarding, nothing gives her greater reward than being able to establish long-term relationships with patients to help them live longer, more fulfilling lives.
In addition to her work at Village Medical, Leslee works part-time with hospice, helping others as they near the end of life. She’s also a member of DOCARE International and regularly travels to Guatemala on medical mission trips. Leslee is an active member of the AANP and enjoys staying up to date on the latest trends and topics in medicine. A former teacher of trauma nursing classes for the Arizona Emergency Nurses Association, Leslee now applies her teaching skills to instructing her patients in the importance of lifestyle changes and medications. Knowledge is power, she explains, and it is key in helping people take control of their health.
Leslee earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix before obtaining her master's from Chamberlain University and becoming a family nurse practitioner. When she’s not assisting patients, Leslee enjoys spending time with her children, watching them perform and compete in hip-hop competitions, and with her close-knit extended family. She enjoys traveling, discovering new wineries, attending church, playing cards and board games, and watching The Golden Girls and scary movies.
