Dr. Mandy Ton’s focus is in family medicine, which she began practicing in 2007. Her areas of clinical interest are dermatology, skin procedures, and preventive health for teenagers and adults. She also has several years of experience in Urgent Care and can help manage chronic and acute illness (injury, lacerations). She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member the American Academy of Family Medicine.
Dr. Ton completed her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Texas at Arlington and went to medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados. She completed her residency at Louisiana State University Shreveport, specializing in family medicine. In addition to English, Dr. Ton speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese.
Her favorite hobbies are yoga, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
