Margaret Bassey, FNP-C

Nurse practitioner Margaret Bassey (pronounced “Mar garet / Bass ey”) is committed to the health of her patients. She started practicing in 2020 with clinical interest in women's health, diabetes, hypertension management, and health maintenance and promotion.

Margaret obtained an associate’s degree in nursing from San Jacinto College in Houston, TX. She then earned her undergraduate degree in nursing at Texas Woman’s University in Houston, TX. Margaret completed her master’s degree and family nurse practitioner training at The University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and AANP. Margaret is also certified in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS). In addition, she is fluent in Ibibio.

On a personal note, Margaret has two sons and loves to spend time with her family and friends, dancing. In her free time, Margaret enjoys listening to music, traveling and watching Nollywood movies.
