Nurse practitioner Maria Grant (pronounced “Muh ree ah / Grant”) began practicing medicine in 2015 with clinical interest in women’s health and pediatrics.
Maria obtained her bachelor of science in nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed her nurse practitioner training at Walden University in Minneapolis, MN, and is certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C). She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Houston Area Nurse Practitioners (HANP).
On a personal note, Maria has three children. She enjoys spending time with her family when she is not with patients, and she also enjoys learning new languages. She is fluent in Slovak and is currently studying Spanish and Russian.
