Bio
Meaghan Lisman believes that the patient-provider relationship is a partnership. She is passionate about helping patients identify their health goals and supporting them through education and shared decision making. She prides herself on taking time to listen to, and educate, her patients.
Meaghan began practicing as a nurse practitioner in 2009. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including internal medicine, community medicine, urgent care, and telemedicine, but truly feels at home in family medicine and is excited to be a part of the Village Medical team. She is board-certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Nurse Association and Sigma Theta Tau honors society.
Meaghan earned her undergraduate degree in Art History at Williams College in Williamstown, MA, where she captained her rowing team to a Division III NCAA National Championship. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA where she received awards in both Clinical Excellence and Nursing Leadership.
On a personal note, Meaghan is the mother of three young children and a Labrador retriever. She is a dedicated volunteer in her community, and recharges by being outdoors and physically active. She loves to cook at home and try all the amazing restaurants Austin has to offer. She also loves to read and is currently enjoying revisiting the classics from her childhood with her own children.
