Dr. Mehrnoosh Zarkoob (pronounced “Mehr-NUSH Zar-COOB”) has been practicing since 2007, with a focus on General Internal Medicine and clinical interests in diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorder, and preventative care.
Dr. Zarkoob attended medical school in Iran, at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at University of Arizona in Tucson as well as a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Huntsman Cancer Institute – University of Utah. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), she belongs to the American College of Physicians (ACP). Dr. Zarkoob is fluent in Farsi. Dr. Zarkoob has learned through years of her practice, that the best way of taking care of people is to create a personalize care plan for each individual with an emphasis on prevention, risk factors identification and modification, early diagnosis, and timely treatment. This would be the main goal in her practice.
Dr. Zarkoob takes pride in her good bed side manners and commitment to high standards. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, watching movies, handicrafts and spending time with family and friends.
