Bio
Mike Colip (pronounced “Call ip”), MD, enjoys providing Urgent Care services to all ages with the goal of helping you and your family back to health when those unplanned injuries and illnesses arise and you need immediate medical care. He started practice in 1998 as a full-spectrum family doctor, then transitioned to rural emergency medicine in 2005, and then full-time Urgent Care in Fort Collins since 2013.
He earned a bachelor’s in life science from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, then completed his doctor of medicine from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City & Wichita, KS. Dr. Colip completed family medicine residency at Via Christi Family Medicine in Wichita, KS, through the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Colip is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
Dr. Colip is married with one son and two daughters. When he isn’t caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, biking, hiking and traveling.
