Misty Sanderson, NP

Misty Sanderson (San-der-son)  is a committed family nurse practitioner who is dedicated to providing exceptional care. She started practicing in 2018 with a medical focus in family practice, urgent care and pediatrics. She treats infants, children, teens and adults, performing adult physical exams, well woman exams, well child exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.  

 Misty earned her BSN undergraduate degree from Murray State University. She then attained her MSN at the Chamberlain College of Nursing. She has experience in various clinical rotations, including family practice, pediatrics, OB-GYN and urgent care. For 11 years – prior to becoming a nurse practitioner – Misty worked as an RN on a maternal child unit at a local hospital caring for women, infants and children. She is currently a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners & Nurse-Midwives. 

 In her free time, Misty enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to live music and shopping at small businesses. As a mom and a wife, she always tries to care for her patients as if they were part of her family. Misty believes that kindness can go a long way, and she always does her best to leave a positive impact on her patients.
