Bio
Nezar Dahdal (pronounced “Nayz ahr / Duh doll”), MD, is committed to providing quality care to his patients. He began practicing medicine in 2008. He has clinical interest in chronic disease management, particularly congestive heart failure and palliative and end-of-life care.
As an undergraduate student, Dr. Dahdal studied psychology at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook in Long Island. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine based in Miramar, FL. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, NY. Dr. Dahdal serves as an advisor to medtech startups and is board certified in both internal medicine as well as hospice and palliative care through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
Dr. Dahdal has been named physician of the year at three different hospitals and received a 2021 Top Doctor award as well as mentor and preceptor awards. He is a member of several medical associations including the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM), the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) and the Maricopa County Medical Society (MCMS). He is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) as well as the fundamentals of critical care leadership and aesthetic medicine through the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM). Dr. Dahdal speaks Arabic and Spanish in addition to English.
When he is not contributing to positive health outcomes with his patients, Dr. Dahdal values creating memorable experiences with his family. Together, they enjoy hiking, biking, paddleboarding, tennis, pickleball and relaxing. He also enjoys learning about business and serves as a wellness coach.
