Nida Chhotani, MD

Dr. Nida Chhotani (pronounced “Cho-tan-nee”) began practicing in 2015, with a focus on family medicine and clinical interest in preventative health and women's health.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is also certified in Basic Life Support and Department of Transportation.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX, attended medical school at the Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, and completed her residency in Rockford, IL, at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at the Swedish American Hospital, with a focus on family medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and Texas Association of Family Physicians.

In addition to English, she speaks fluent Urdu and Hindi.

On a personal note, she is a native Houstonian with a Pakistani background, loves reading murder mysteries and enjoys play time with her two children. Dr. Chhotani enjoys learning about different cultures and traditions. She also enjoys gardening and growing her own vegetables.
