Bio
Nonye Onuogu, FNP-C, began practicing in 2017, specializing in Family Practice. Her areas of clinical interest include Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Disease prevention.
Nonye completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She then pursued her Master of Science Degree in Nursing at Walden University, where she specialized as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner, she also holds a certification as a Rehabilitation Nurse.
Nonye is a member of several professional medical associations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioner (AANP), Texas Association of Nurse Practitioner (TNP), and Houston Area Nurse Practitioner (HANP). In addition to English, she also speaks Igbo fluently, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients.
Outside of work, Nonye enjoys gardening and watching sports, particularly soccer, football, and basketball. A Texas resident for over 30 years, she is happily married and has two adult sons.
