Family Nurse Practitioner Porchae Freeman-Brisby (Free-mun Bris-be) is passionate about preventive health. She believes an active lifestyle, healthy eating habits, and a positive attitude play a critical role in helping each person become the best versions of themselves. When patients are knowledgeable, they can become active participants in their care.
Before joining Village Medical, Porchae practiced for two years in both the clinic and community-based setting. Her specialty is family practice. Porchae completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended graduate school for her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Texas at Arlington.
A native of Texas, Porchae was born and raised in the Houston area and enjoys spending the football season tailgating and cheering for the Houston Texans. In addition to football, Porchae enjoys gardening, traveling, watching movies and spending time with her family.
