Dr. Tejura (pronounced “Teh-joo-rah”) is a Family Medicine Physician who began practicing in 2014 with a focus on Primary Care, and has clinical interest in treating High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, and Thyroid disease. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Georgia Academy of Family Practice, American Medical Association, and the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Tejura received a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan in
Ann Arbor, MI, and attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. After graduation, he worked as a volunteer physician in two disadvantaged communities outside Cape Town, South Africa. He completed his residency at Western Reserve Health Education in Youngstown, OH.
On a personal note, Dr. Tejura enjoys spending time with family, playing chess, trying new cuisines, and traveling.
