Dr. Ronak D. Ghiya practices internal medicine with a focus on preventive care and lifestyle optimization. His clinical interests include health care quality improvement and applied epidemiology. He is Board-Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he has a Certificate in Quality and Safety from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
Dr. Ghiya received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Wright State University in Dayton, OH and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH. He completed his first residency at Baylor Scott & White Health in Austin/Round Rock, TX with a focus on Internal Medicine and his second residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA with a focus on Preventive Medicine along with a Health Equity, Advocacy, and Policy track. He also received his Executive Master of Public Health degree in Applied Epidemiology from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta, GA.
He is an active member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Preventive Medicine, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Texas Medical Association, and Delta Omega Honorary Society.
In addition to English, Dr. Ghiya speaks Gujarati.
