Bio
Sharon Marshall (pronounced “Sha-RUN”) is a primary care nurse practitioner with clinical interests in managing acute, chronic diseases and holistic medicine. She began practicing in 2018, and has been a registered nurse since 2009.
Sharon completed her undergraduate study in nursing at the University of Texas in Arlington. She has a master’s degree in nursing (FNP) from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN and completed an internal medicine residency under Dr. Henry Grainger at Grainger Diagnostic Clinic in Houston, TX. Additionally, she holds an associate of arts degree from Houston Community College. She is a member of the Houston area Nurse Practitioner Society, the Society of Critical Medicine, Texas Nurses Association, American Nursing Association (ANA) and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Sharon taught medical billing and coding at both Houston Community College, and online at Bryant & Stratton University. She has also received a number of awards: the Good Samaritan Scholarship, 2007 - 2009, 2010 - 2011 and 2014 - 2016; and the Houston Methodist Quality & Patient Safety Team Award for High Reliability in 2015 and 2016.
Sharon is married and has three children and three grandchildren. In her free time, she likes to travel, spend time with family, shop and garden.
