Dr. Snehal Kolhe has been practicing in Dallas since 2005, with a focus on internal medicine. Her clinical areas of interest include management of chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, skin conditions like acne and allergies. She also has several years of experience in geriatric care for seniors and performs procedures like skin biopsies. She can help manage acute illnesses as well as perform annual physicals, well woman exams and Medicare annual wellness visits. She is Board-Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of American Medical Association (AMA), Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the American College of Physicians (ACP). Additionally, Dr. Kolhe has been recognized with “United Hero” award by United Healthcare for outstanding patient care and experience.
Dr. Kolhe went to medical school in India at Government Medical College, Aurangabad. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, TX and Internship at Brookdale university Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to English, Dr. Kolhe is fluent in Hindi and Marathi.
When she isn’t seeing patients Dr. Kolhe enjoys cooking, gardening, yoga, weightlifting and reading.
