Bio
Stacie Johns (pronounced “Stay cee / Jawnz”), MD, has been caring for the health and wellbeing of infants, children, teens and adults since 2004. She takes a holistic approach to medicine and has clinical interest in women’s health, caring for the LGBTQ+ community.
Dr. Johns earned a bachelor’s in German literature from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. She earned a doctor of medicine from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill, NC. She completed her family medicine residency at the Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Dr. Johns is board certified in family medicine. Besides English, she is fluent in German and Spanish.
Dr. Johns volunteers as the medical director for a first responder trauma counselor group that strives to care for the wellbeing of local first responders. She also volunteers as the medical coach for a local taekwondo dojo. On a personal note, Dr. Johns has two sons. When she isn’t with patients, Dr. Johns enjoys photography, yoga and outdoor activities like scuba diving, skiing and hiking. She holds a second-degree black belt in taekwondo. Dr. Johns also enjoys animals and has raised guide dogs for the blind.
