Steve Hammett (pronounced “Stee v / Ham mit”), DO, is committed to providing quality care to children, teens, and adults. A doctor of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Hammett began practicing in 2007. He has clinical interest in preventive care, osteopathic manipulative therapy and management of chronic medical conditions.
Dr. Hammett earned his undergraduate degree in exercise science and physical education at Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at the Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at the HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Hammett enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His hobbies include hockey, golf, hiking, fishing and shooting.
