Thomas Michael Adams, MD

Thomas Michael Adams, MD, (Add-ams) is a board certified physician with a focus on family medicine. In 1994, he started practicing in Murray, KY, and has served patients of all ages throughout his career. Dr. Adams performs DOT recertification exams, adult physical exams, well child exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.

 Dr. Adams earned his undergraduate degree and attended medical school at the University of Kentucky where he earned an academic scholarship for medical excellence and was voted best bedside manner by medical school instructors. He completed his residency in Edgewood, KY, with a specialty in family medicine and his fellowship in pathology at UK Medical Center. He is a resident board member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and associate professor student preceptor for University of Louisville Medical School and several physician assistant and nurse practitioner programs.

 In his free time, Dr. Adams enjoys horseback trail riding, cattle ranching, boating with family and friends, hunting, spending time with his church family and completing medical mission trips to the Brazil Amazon Basin. His wife, Marsha Adams, is a physician assistant who has practiced medicine with her husband since they both entered the medical field. After retirement, Dr. Adams and his wife plan to go on more medical mission trips and ride horses together along the Rocky Mountains.
